Inspired by Constantina’s graduate work on zebra finches, Constantina and her team are investigating the therapeutic potential of an oxytocin treatment in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder showing speech deficits. A proof-of-concept study is currently being funded by the Robertson Therapeutic Development Fund and the Women & Science Entrepreneurship Award of The Rockefeller University.
